Leah bought this print at the shop of the museum home of a Tang dynasty poet, Du Fu, in Chengdu. After she bought it, she learned that it had been painted by the young woman guide at the museum. The print is 18-1/4" x 15-1/2" high.
This piece was a test, which Leah passed. The Vizcaya Museum in Miami -- originally the home of the industrialist James Deering almost 100 years ago -- was reconstructing furnishings. Leah contributed embroidery to the master bathroom, and this test evaluated her skill.
